Fundraising for Schallenberger Elementary in Willow Glen!

On Friday, March 11th, 2011 Schallenberger Elementary School in Willow Glen had its yearly gala. This year was a record year for attendance and money raised.
As budget cuts continue - local families stepped up with the goal of keeping many of the schools programs alive. I had the pleasure of being the auctioneer and the DJ/MC for the event.
One of the cool items that drew a lot of attention was the autographed jersey from the San Jose Sharks'Jamal Mayers. The fellow next to me in the photo below was the generous donor who became the new owner of the jersey.
Soon after the auction, the dance floor was packed for a couple hours.
One word to describe the evening - SUCCESS!!
